In 2021 Waringa purchased Rural Air Work – a quality aerial application business in Moree, combining it with our existing aviation business in Yuna (WA) to provide services on both the east and west coasts.

 

With our growth, we are now seeking an additional Operations Manager to work alongside our long-standing OM in Moree – and provide additional capacity and support for our west coast operations.

 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the agriculture sector, be mechanically minded, hands on and have good communication skills. Responsibilities will include:

 

• Work closely with the Chief Pilot and schedule jobs / orders to deliver timely services to clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their upcoming needs.
• Manage ordering and logistics through suppliers (including fuel, consumables, etc)
• Recruit, roster and train ground crew (mixers) team.
• Communicate pricing policies to customers and ensure all relevant information is captured for invoicing.
• Manage OHS and compliance obligations and train team on this
• Manage and undertake maintenance of our ground equipment and assets
