Plague Locust Control

Field Air has a proud history of providing plague locust control services to various agencies in Eastern Australia, including the Australian Plague Locust Commission (APLC).

Our fleet of Piper Brave aircraft are ideally suited to this task, as are the smaller turbine Air Tractors such as the AT-402B and AT-502B/AT-504. A Cessna 185 is also available for survey work of locust swarms.

All aircraft are fitted with GPS guidance equipment with capability for download of the spray runs after completion of daily tasks.  Support equipment such as fuel trucks with water tanks and pumping equipment can also be provided.
