The aircraft maintenance division of Field Air has experienced personnel to carry out routine and overhaul maintenance on general aviation piston and turbine aircraft including Air Tractor Turbine Aircraft.
The Air Tractor range is designed for minimum maintenance and requires only twenty man hours to complete scheduled airframe and engine maintenance after each 100 hours of operations. The PT6 turbine power plant is a proven reliable and long term engine, with 5,000 hours allowed between overhauls (providing recognised trend monitoring and approved maintenance systems are adopted). |
|
The maintenance division is made up of a eight staff including a Chief Engineer, three L.A.M.E.S., three A.M.E.S and two apprentices.
In addition to working on the companies own fleet of aircraft, maintenance staff also handle the assembly and modification of Air Tractor aircraft.
Field Air Maintenance is also licensed to issue Certificates of Airworthiness.
For enquiries relating to maintenance, contact Chief Engineer - Cameron Wright. |
