CASA-approved maintenance at Ballarat Airport
Field Air's maintenance division operates from a fully-equipped facility at Ballarat Airport. CASA-approved for Air Tractor assembly, modification, and overhaul, the workshop also covers PT6A engine maintenance, agricultural system servicing, and general aviation work.
The facility includes multiple hangar bays, a fully-equipped avionics bench, spray system test rig, and a parts store with fast-turnaround inventory for common consumables. As the authorised Air Tractor dealer for Asia-Pacific, we maintain deep stock of Air Tractor and PT6A consumables and have direct access to factory technical support.

Air Tractor assembly & overhaul
Factory-authorised assembly, modification, repair, and full overhaul of Air Tractor aircraft across the AT-402 to AT-802 range. We are among the most experienced Air Tractor MRO facilities outside the United States.

PT6A engine maintenance
On-engine diagnostics, borescope inspection, and management of engine overhaul through factory-authorised facilities. Engine health monitoring and trend analysis available.

Agricultural system servicing
Full maintenance of spray systems, flow controllers, GPS autoflight computers, hopper systems, and nozzle configurations. Spray system calibration and test rig verification available.

General aviation maintenance
Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a wide range of general aviation types beyond the agricultural sector. Licensed engineers available for most common GA types.

Modifications & STC fitment
Factory and third-party STC fitments including GPS systems, fire suppression equipment, agricultural spreader systems, and avionics upgrades.
AOG support
Aircraft-on-ground situations during the season cost money. Our parts store carries fast-moving items for the Air Tractor range, and we have direct access to Pratt & Whitney and Air Tractor factory technical support for issues that require it.
