Quirindi Air is a small family owned aerial application business based out of the Quirindi Airport in the Liverpool Plains. We operate 2 x AT802’s and 1 x AT301 conducting aerial spraying, spreading & baiting. Majority of our work is broad acre spraying in the Liverpool Plains and the Central West (Coonamble). We are also a preferred supplier to the NSW RFS on a CWN basis for aerial firefighting. We are currently looking for a FULL TIME experienced pilot to join the team. Minimum requirement for the applicant would be 1500hrs TT ag with 1000Hrs turbine/airtractor experience. Firefighting endorsement & experience would also be an advantage but not essential.

Remuneration would be inline with the the current Air pilots award, however we do offer a forward paid bonus arrangement so your minimum base salary is $90,000.00/year.($45000.00 retainer + $45000.00 bonus). The remaining commission is then paid at the end of each financial quarter.

The Liverpool Plains (Quirindi) is great place for a family as it has access to great schools within the region. There are both Catholic & State primary schools & a high school in Quirindi as well as 2 preschools. Tamworth also hosts 2 boarding schools with Calrossy Anglican School being co-ed & Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School which is state selective, boys only. We have great pubs & restaurants in town & within 20 – 50k’s with the Willow tree Inn & Glasshouse restaurant in Tamworth. Quirindi is only 3 hours to Newcastle, 4 hours to Sydney & 50mins to Tamworth.
