Air Tractor AT-502B

This 1996 AT-502B was imported from America in late 2023 with 6700hrs TT, since then it has flown about 500hrs. It has a an original airframe and no accident history. It had an engine overhaul with Pacific Turbine in early 2025 due to metal in oil ( the result of a prior engine failure and an oil-cooler that was not properly flushed). While the engine was stripped, and a number of key components replaced,including CT blades zeroed to 3000hrs, no damage was found and it tested nearly at new power. The airframe is straight and it flies well--partly helped by the small fuel tanks (670 litres), which make it agile to fly. Whilst it only has 800hrs until spar overhaul, its price and condition make it a good entry-level 502. It is equipped with heavy-duty Odyssey battery kit,VGs, Tracmap GPS , flow controller, CP11 nozzles, and electric hopper lid.
