About
Field Air's aircraft operations extend throughout
the year, with the peak period of operation from October
through to March.
Operations activities include the following:

The
company employs six Grade 1 agricultural pilots
and holds an aerial work licence issued by the Civil
Aviation Authority of Australia.
The aircraft fleet comprises of approximately six
Air Tractor turbine aircraft ( From AT-402 up to
AT-802 ) as well as seven piston aircraft ( including
five PA36/300 Piper Braves ). This fleet is spread
across locations in Victoria, New South Wales and
South Australia at different times in the season.
Aircraft and pilots are supported on the ground
by mobile loaders, purpose built to load both bulk
fertiliser and seed. Other loaders are used for
chemical mixing and loading with all equipment designed,
built and maintained at Field Air.

Over the years, Field Air has prided
itself on being at the forefront of industry development
and change. Accordingly, Field Air
is a foundation member of :
• The Aerial Agricultural Association of Victoria
• The Operations Spray Safe Discipline
• The Rice Air Improvement Group.
